"Big event" items:
- Jared is teaching at a chamber music camp in Chattanooga for a week
- Jared is taking three weeks of Dalcroze teacher training in Pittsburgh
- I am teaching at a three-day Suzuki workshop in Tacoma
- Jared is teaching Dalcroze at the Japan-Seattle Suzuki Institute, and today I registered to take book 4 with the amazing Nancy Lokken. I'm so excited!!! I've wanted to take a class with her for a long time, and I'd most love to take book 1, but book 4 will be great, too.
- I will probably do a day or two of observing at the Oregon Suzuki Institute, since it's 15 minutes from Jared's parents, and therefore is an easy place to stay and comes with babysitting as needed.
- Today we booked our beach camping trip!
- And soon I will set up a little get-away for Jared and me, likely in Oregon since it's near babysitting, for our tenth wedding anniversary. Can you believe it's already been ten years?
- I am also looking at tickets for Anne's and my trip to Texas while Jared is in Pennsylvania.
- And we've decided what day to start our fall teaching term again.
Now here are a few more pictures just for fun:

This one is my favorite: Anne let me videotape her playing on the little violin from cousin Erik last night. Ignore the fact that the violin is a size too big and that she insists on putting the shoulder pad on backwards... It guess it's almost time to start her in lessons. Actually, she is going to start cello with Daddy next week when it's her birthday.
