P.S. to Baby Person

Dear Baby Person,

P.S.  I realize that people your age aren't generally interested in adult's ideas about scheduling your life. But on the off chance you care in any remote way, I have a couple more suggestions about when you might want to make your grand entrance.

Point #1 - Your dad has a spring break from about 10am on Friday, April 5th until 7:30am on Monday, April 15th, meaning that he does not have to spend good chunks of his days driving around south Seattle and meaning that if you decide to appear at that time, he won't have to go to all the nearly impossible trouble of finding an approved sub while you are arriving.  And also meaning that he won't have to be out the door at 6:00-something every day that week for work.

Point #2 - Your Oregon grandparents are likely going to have a chance to bring your car seat up that very first weekend in April, meaning that if you arrive sometime around the same time as your car seat, you will have a means of getting home from the hospital.  And you can meet your grandparents.

Point #3 - Earlier is still better than later since April 30th is the first day you will be babysat while I go to teach in north Seattle.  And I think you and I would both benefit from more time before that day, rather than less, to get ourselves a bit organized.

Point #4 - Your Aunt Emily and Uncle Chad are getting married on the evening of April 6th, and it would be lovely if you choose to arrive either before or after the ceremony (but not during) so that I can watch it on Skype.

Point #5 - Your Texas grandparents will be arriving during the week of Dad's spring break, so it would be good of you to come in time to see the most of them during their visit.  I strongly recommend that you not wait to arrive until their plane is departing!!!
