Before and After

Here's the color of home we've been living in for the last 3 1/2 years.

I've wished since we moved in that they'd repaint.  I was not a fan of the two tones of mustard with dirt-brown trim.

The development was bought last summer, and they've been doing a lot of cosmetic/curb appeal work.  I knew that repainting was coming.  And obviously also higher rent.

Here's what higher rent looks like:

They haven't done anything internal of note, such as fixing the door knob face plate which is mostly stripped out and caused Jared and Anne to be locked out one day or putting in a new fridge/freezer where the doors actually seal.  Just to clarify, we've asked the new management for the first of those repairs, and since they haven't come to our aid yet, we did the next best thing and apply packing tape to the situation.  No one will get locked out now.  And the painters painted over the tape when they did the front door, meaning that when someone does fix the face plate and remove the tape, there will be a funny strip of a different color on the door.  The fridge  was glanced at by someone from the power company as part of an appliance audit, and he instantly determined that our fridge was still new enough by the manufacture date stamp that it didn't warrant replacement for power efficiency.

Anyway, the paint job looks pretty good.
